It was Luke's 1st Birthday on Saturday ( Feb. 27th) We had a big party for him and he got royally spoiled! He was so fun to watch when he opened presents and then wanted to play with them. It is wierd to think a whole year has gone by. I know all mom's say this, but, IT GOES TOO FAST!!! We have loved every sweet second of being parents. We feel so blessed to have Luke and we can not describe the absolute joy he has brought us. Ben and I were reminiscing about what was going on a year ago and how scared/excited we were when I went into labor. My water broke when I was climbing into bed at 1:00 a.m. I thought to myself " Is this really, finally happening". I have had that same feeling so many times over the last year. When you struggle with infertility for too many years, it is very hard for your brain to wrap around the fact that you are actually a parent. It is almost like a dream and I am scared to wake up, because it will be gone. A whole year! WOW! We love out little Lukey. And we want to thank all those that helped to get him here. So many thoughts, prayers and love were given in our behalf and it is very hard to not get emotional every time I think about it. ( Which is all the time!) Thank you for spoiling me and my Baby! We love you all!!
He did not know what to think about the frosting on his arms. I don't think he liked it very much. :)
But, he definately liked the taste!

Happy Birthday Luke! Your Mom and Dad love you so very much!!!PS. Luke has been walking for a few weeks and I keep forgetting to put a video on. Next time, I promise!! ( It is sooooo cute the way babies learn to walk)

A gang of Capuchen Monkeys raided our beach area and thieved some banana's and crackers. It was super cool and hilarious to see them work as a team to get some loot.
